BioTRIC

Investigation of the operation and design of a small-scale hybrid bio-trigeneration system powered by supercritical ORC
Development of a promising small-scale system, based on a small-scale biomass (pellets or olive kerns) fuelled boiler (capacity of 40 kWth), producing the required low- to very low temperature heat (around 80-120 oC, being a parameter to be optimized) and feeding a supercritical organic Rankine cycle (SORC) for combined cooling/chilling, heating and power production (tri-generation).
